Using A Bluetooth Network Diagram
The Bluetooth Network Diagram started out to be one of the simplest diagrams and the earliest out there. Some of the founding companies that first bought out Bluetooth are Ericsson, IBM, and Toshiba along with a couple more. Then the newer members who came later were Microsoft, Lucent and Motorola. Now there are over 1200 members of Bluetooth. You may have heard of Bluetooth such as in headsets and other accessories but they are becoming more and more known and popular as time goes by. The Bluetooth Network Diagram may look like a block style diagram as well as other types of diagrams depending on the product the diagram is designed for. One of the more common connections you may be familiar with is the connection from computer to phone. Bluetooth was known for simplicity and a slower connection speed. The simplest connection in diagram is when there are only two devices are involved in the connection. Known as Ad-hoc connection, this type of connection is referred to as a piconet. This is when there is one master and one or more slaves such as a phone or phones. When there is more than one point it is call point-to-multipoint. There can be up to seven "slaves" or other points.
All points must be synchronized with the master, which can be looked at in the Bluetooth Network Diagram. If there are more slaves they would not be considered active addresses and are called parked but are all activated by the master connection. There is a limit to parked devices, which are 256. In the event of another person or devices that are close to yours there would be a crossover and that persons equipment would then be able to communicate with yours if one of them participate as the master and the other as a slave to that master point and this is called scatter net. There are hardware requirements and these system requirements should be checked against your system to be sure they are compatible. Be sure to do your research about Bluetooth and the Bluetooth Network Diagram. Make sure you have researched security features of Bluetooth and any agreements. Make sure you have a good back up system in place and all security patches and back up is enabled in case of problems or issues. You may have other questions so be sure to have the tech support number available to call when needed. |
